Cae Du Designs in Harlech carries an eclectic range of furnishing fabric, whether that’s an embroidered voile or a natural wool. There are many hundreds of metres, including end of lines and slight seconds at substantial discounts, plus current rolls from major fabric houses. An enormous range of sample books is also available – there’s everything you need to find the perfect fabric.
Cae Du Designs was started by Dee in 1995. Before moving to Harlech, she had worked in a high-end interior design business in Chester, and recognised a gap in the market when she tried to find fabric for herself that was both beautiful and affordable. Dee had the advantage of knowing where to source these fabrics direct from the manufacturers, mills, and importers. The business started in a converted dairy above Harlech, and is now based in the Old Bank on the High Street.
